Project HARDIS presented as the best-practice project of Interreg AT/CZ

Funding program Interreg AT/CZ connects Lower Austria, Upper Austria, and Vienna regions with neighbouring regions of CZ: South Moravia, South Bohemia and Vysocina (Hochland). The program supported the terminated highly successful project HARDIS (ATCZ21) and the ending follow-up project ROTCUT (ATCZ276). Both projects were presented by Dr. Jan Tippner (Mendel University in Brno) and Dr. Ondrej Dvoracek (Wood K plus – Area Wood Materials Technologies, Tulln) as one of the six best-performing ones. The invitation was an appreciation for exemplary cooperation between Wood K plus, Mendel University in Brno and Brno University of Technology.

The second part of the conference was dedicated to the new INTERREG VI-A program period Austria-Czech Republic 2021-2027. The representative of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic revealed that ca. EUR 19 million is ready for research and innovation projects for the upcoming funding period. Submissions can be placed from January/February 2022.
