Gaby Schaunig visited W3C: Science4Girls

As part of the project Science4Girls, Dr. Gaby Schaunig visited at the opening event at the W3C in St. Veit an der Glan. Science4Girls is a mentoring program for girls.

The aim is to support schoolchildren in science workshops with girls in primary school in Carinthia, in order to inspire them with scientific and technical content. The kick-off took place at the W3C. The introduction was held by Dr. LHStv.in Dr Gaby Schaunig, Mag. Peter Holub from University College of Teacher Education Carinthia and area manager Dr. Edith Zikulnig-Rusch. The competence center was presented during a tour of the laboratory and technology rooms. In addition, a lecture concerning “mentoring” and the scientific quiz "Who or What am I?" completed the kick-off event.
