Project: BioRest - Biopolymers from biogenic raw- and waste materials

Project: BioRest -  Biopolymers from biogenic raw- and waste materials

Project aim:

Strategic research work for the preparation of biogenic monomeric building blocks for production of polymers, as well as modification, blending or cross-linking of biopolymers. Waste streams from pulp- amd paper industry will be used as raw materials.

Project results:

Process concepts as well as ecological and economic evaluation.

Project partner:

Energy Institute at the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz

Johannes Kepler University Linz, Institute for Chemical Technology of Organic Materials

Kompetenzzentrum Holz GmbH

The project BioRest -  Biopolymers from biogenic raw- and waste materials is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the province of Upper Austria.
